Militants manage to escape after attacking army patrol in South Kashmir

Pulwama: Militants have reportedly managed to escape from Seer Jagir area of Tral town here in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Earlier, a gunfight had raged between militants.
Government Forces had cordoned off the village and launched a search operation after militants attacked an army patrolling party belonging to 42 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army.
Latest reports suggest that militants managed to escape after carrying out the attack. A police official said that search operation is still underway.
Meanwhile, a group of youth pelted stones on army vehicles near General Bus Stand Tral which were rushing towards the encounter spot.
Youth also attacked army vehicles with stones at Batagund village of the town. Government Forces lobbed tear smoke shells to disperse them
