DD cameraman and 2 policemen killed in Chattisgarh Nexal attack

CHATTISGARH: A Doordarshan cameraperson and two policemen were reportedly killed by Maoists which attacked the news channel's crew in Chattisgarh's Dantewada, reported ANI.
The deceased lensman has been identified as Achyutanand Sahu.
The crew was in the Maoists hotbed for poll coverage.
Two policemen have also been killed in the ongoing encounter at Dantewada's Aranpur.
The Maoists had allegedly asked the villagers to boycott the upcoming assembly polls.
P Sundar Raj, DIG, anti-naxal operation while addressing the media said, "Today our patrolling party was ambushed by Naxals in Aranpur. Two of our personnel were martyred, and a DD cameraman was also injured and later succumbed. Two more personnel injured. Reinforcement team is on the spot. This ghastly attack exposes the true face of the naxals."
